About Me

I hold an MSc in Maths and an MPhil and currently reside in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. Growing up in an orthodox Brahmin family in the sacred town of Srirangam, Tiruchirappalli, and belonging to the Painganadu Sastrigal lineage, I have been closely associated with the late Bhagavathar Shri Manjakkudi Rajagopala Sastrigal. This background has deeply influenced my inclination towards Sloka learning since childhood, where chanting Slokas and performing poojas became an integral part of my daily routine.

About Sree Kamakshi Sloka Academy

Nearly a decade ago, a demand arose for a dedicated Sloka teacher in my neighborhood, prompting me to initiate Sloka classes in 2012 with 11 students. With dedication, commitment, and passion for my profession, the popularity of my teachings grew, attracting more students. Many parents expressed interest in learning Sahasranamams and Ashtakams. Some who had relocated from my area sought online classes, a desire fulfilled thanks to advancements in Science and technology.

Sree Kamakshi Sloka Academy ventured into the realm of online education in 2017 by offering interactive online video classes. Today, students ranging from 3 to 75 years old from across the globe have fulfilled their dream of Sloka learning. Our customized systematic teaching methods, extensive curriculum, flexible hours, One-on-One/Group interactive video classes, dedicated gurujis, and engaging students with historical and mythological references have positioned Sree Kamakshi Sloka Academy as the premier destination for Sloka learning worldwide.

Hundreds of students from various countries and time zones pursue their passion for Sloka learning from the comfort of their homes. Our academy has conducted over 100,000 virtual classes and continues to grow.
